It is amazing how you get used to things working a certain way. Then when it changes, it really throws things for a loop.
In an attempt to make things work better, we (and when I say we, I mean Kris) decided to reformat the computer that I use. But now we (and when I say we here, I mean me) are working through trying to find what does not work the same.
I am at the point now where I am wondering why I thought this would be a good idea. Things are moving a little faster speed-wise but not efficiently.
The thought that keeps popping into my head is what would happen if all our computers did not work anymore. It is a bit heavy for a Thursday morning but how crazy would that be. What would we do if we could not check our email (which I can read but cannot send)? What would happen if there was not internet? My calendar would be gone (it might be kind nice to not be so scheduled) and how would I find any phone numbers or directions.
Are we too dependent on technology? Have we isolated ourselves because we communicate like this? How long would it take us to recover if things went down?
They are deep thoughts this morning, I know. But I think in the end it would be ok. I just know it would be frustrating to deal with. I know I am frustrated right now.
